Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has revealed that the club blocked his potential move during the summer transfer window but insists he has no regret staying put at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and has made no secret of his interest in joining the La Liga giants.
However, Hazard insists he will remain a Chelsea player as the summer transfer window closed, and the Belgian confirmed that he will not leave Maurizio Sarri’s side in the winter.
“Chelsea were clear with me [in the summer]. I couldn’t leave the club,” the Belgium international told Telefoot.
“I accepted it. Anyway… leaving or staying, I was going to be happy. I do not regret this decision at all.
“When decisions are made [that you may not like] you can sulk and often you get the last word. But I will never look to clash with the club.
“Chelsea have given me a lot. I left Lille on good terms and I want to do the same thing here. “A transfer in January? It’s not possible.”
